Wedding Photography T&C’s
Below is a sample of our Wedding Photography T&C’s you will receive when booking.
Agreement: It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. This contract for wedding photography services is effective 30 days after booking.
Deposit: A deposit of £100 is payable when booking. The Couple agree that the date will only be secured after deposit is paid.
Outstanding Payments: The Couple agrees to pay the remaining balance 14 days prior to above wedding date unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellation: In the event of the Couple cancelling the Photographer(s) services for any reason, The Photographer(s) offers a refund under the following conditions. If cancelled within 30 days of booking; the Photographer(s) will refund all money paid, including the Couples deposit. If the Couple cancels after 30 days of booking, the Photographer(s) will refund 50% of all money paid, excluding the Couples deposit.
House Rules: Note the Photographer(s) are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that the Photographer(s) shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Couple agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. We advise the Couple to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.
Paparazzi Wedding Guests: The Couples guests will have digital cameras and will want to photograph the Couple. In the spirit of cheerful cooperation the Couple agree to give the Photographer(s) precedence over the guests in order to take the photographs required for the wedding services described above. The Photographer(s) cannot be held liable for a lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos of the Couple continually interrupt the Photographer(s) work.
Copyright Law: The copyright of photographs remains with the Photographer(s). The Photographer(s) grants the Couple permission to make copies of the images under the following conditions. The images taken by the Photographer(s) are for personal use by the Couple and their friends and relatives. Sale, Publication or any Commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the Photographer(s).
Final Images: The Couple will receive the best images from the wedding, selected by the Photographer(s) and edited to a professional standard, the Couple will not receive every photograph taken on the day and the Couple will not receive RAW files or negatives.
Creative Licence: In booking the Photographer(s), the Couple have taken into consideration the Photographer(s) style and are granting artistic licence in all aspects relating to the photography of the Couples wedding. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of the Couple, it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.
Display: The Couple hereby allows the Photographer(s) to display any photograph covered by this contract to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, social media, sample albums etc.
Limit of Liability: If the Photographer(s) is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above, the Photographer(s) will try to book a replacement wedding photographer. If both photographers are unavailable and a replacement photographer cannot be found then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received. the Photographer(s) have working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to the Couples images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond the Photographer(s) control. In these circumstances liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.
